My name is Hailey. Welcome to a Hushed Moment! This site grew out of nights nursing/rocking my baby to sleep. It evolved from a largely neglected, yet very beloved, blog I sustained for a number of years. Thanks to said baby that blog has been tabled due to lack of time in my kitchen (it was called hail's kitchen) and a shift in theme.
This new site comes from the quiet times, the hushed moments when my thoughts become clear. When my head and heart have time to pause and reflect. A Hushed Moment is a space for me to write, to share, to muse, to explore, to celebrate. Join me here, at this new home, where I hope to echo the same joys and adventures of Hail's Kitchen. It's safe to say you'll probably see some recipes here, too.
